Meet the founder of Fireside Soul

My Journey Back to Myself

In 2022, I had everything that should have felt like “enough.” I had just bought a home in a quiet rural town, gotten married, and was finishing my MBA. On paper, my life looked full and steady. But something deep inside me felt missing, like a voice I couldn’t quite hear anymore.

I realized I’d been waiting for others to join me in the things that brought me joy: hiking, camping, paddleboarding, exploring. So, I made a promise to myself. For one year, I would do one new outdoor experience every month, even if I had to go alone.

That year changed everything. Each moment in nature helped me hear my intuition again. I began listening to my inner voice and my spirit guides and slowly, my entire life began to shift.

What I Believe

When we spend time in nature, two truths reveal themselves. First, that the world around us is breathtakingly beautiful and awe-inspiring. And second, that we are part of it, which means we too are beautiful, awe-inspiring, and capable of growth beyond measure.

I believe every person holds a natural ability to adapt, bloom, and thrive. We just need to remember how to listen inward. My purpose with Fireside Soul is to help others rediscover that connection to themselves, to the earth, and to their intuition.

My Path and Training

My background blends both heart and structure. I hold a BS and an MBA, which have given me a foundation in communication, leadership, and the organizational skills needed to design meaningful workshops and retreats.

I’m also a certified Forest Bathing Guide, a long-time yoga practitioner, and someone who has walked over a decade of sustained sobriety, a journey that taught me patience, resilience, and compassion for growth that unfolds slowly.

My relationship with nature mirrors my personal recovery and transformation. I found strength in fire’s duality: its ability to destroy and renew and in the cactus, which thrives where others cannot. Both remind me that we can adapt, transform, and bloom even in difficult conditions.

My Philosophy

To me, reconnection means finding what’s lost but not gone. When we’re disconnected from ourselves, we may feel lost, but our intuition is still there waiting quietly to be heard again.

Through nature, we can return to that place of knowing. The stillness of the forest, the warmth of a campfire, or the sight of sunlight on water all create openings where we can hear our inner voice more clearly. That’s the foundation of Fireside Soul: experiences, tools, and reflections that guide you back to self-trust and connection.

What Makes Fireside Soul Different

Fireside Soul isn’t built around quick fixes or one-size-fits-all formulas. It doesn’t promise abundance or perfection. Instead, it offers experiences of presence: spaces where you can pause, listen, and reconnect with your personal guidance.

Everything I create, whether it’s a retreat, digital download, forest bathing session, or creative workshop, is designed to help you rediscover your own wisdom, not replace it. The goal is to nurture confidence, clarity, and a deeper connection to both self and nature.

When someone leaves a Fireside Soul experience, I want them to feel trust in their intuition, confidence in their choices, and kindness toward themselves and others. That’s how healing ripples outward into our relationships, our work, and our care for the earth.

The Vision Ahead

My dream for Fireside Soul is to make nature connection accessible for everyone no matter where you live or what stage of life you’re in. I envision in-person retreats, collaborative workshops, and partnerships that blend spirituality, science-backed action, and self-discovery.

I also believe in the power of free and affordable resources, because sometimes you need guidance and connection most when you have the least to give.

A Note to the One Who Feels Lost

To the younger version of me, and to anyone reading this who feels disconnected or unsure, you matter. You’re not broken; you’re simply waiting to hear yourself again. Every walk outside, every quiet moment under the sky, is a step toward remembering who you are.
