ENGAGE THE SENSES
Nature connection isn’t just about where you are it’s about what you notice.
By intentionally tuning into your senses sight, sound, smell, touch, and even taste you can bring mindfulness into any space.
This practice helps you slow down, pay attention, and carry nature’s benefits with you, indoors or out.
HOW TO GUIDE
Sight – Notice colors, patterns, and shapes around you. Watch the way light shifts in the room or through leaves.
Sound – Tune in to subtle sounds: the hum of insects, the rustle of leaves, or even recorded nature sounds.
Smell – Inhale the scent of flowers, herbs, essential oils, or fresh soil.
Touch – Explore the texture of petals, bark, stones, or fabrics with natural fibers.
Taste – If safe and appropriate, savor an herbal tea, fresh fruit, or edible flower while practicing.
